Applying to Oakton
It's easy to apply for admission to Oakton's credit programs or associate degree programs. The process is slightly different depending on whether you're applying to Oakton for the first time, applying as a returning student, applying for a health career program, or applying as an international student, so be sure to choose the link that describes you best.
You will qualify for general admission if you:
- Have graduated from an accredited high school,
- Hold a General Education Development (GED) Certificate, or
- Are 18 years of age and have neither graduated from high school nor earned a GED Certificate.
If you're applying for a health career program, the requirements are different, and you'll need to complete a special application. And if you're a veteran of the United States Armed Forces, you'll find a variety of services and programs just for you.
